Shame and self-contempt have subtly formed his relationships. He does not know it, but his use of pornography is one of the most challenging addictions to break. Chip has never physically cheated on his spouse or acted out when he was single, but he is a sex addict and does not know it.
Isabelle grew up with a nurturing mom who was overly permissive and a distant father. She often sought attention and approval from others in inappropriate ways, which masked her insecurity and fragile self-image. She feels disconnected from the world around her.
She came to know Christ in high school but has struggled with feeling her life is transformed by God’s truth.

Aaahhh… so romantic. Unfortunately, most of life is not lived out on those “walking-bridge-moments,” and this couple knows that. They want to be prepared as much as possible for life ahead of them, but how?

Parents… the foundation for our society

These friends of mine do not need relief – they need restoration.
As humans, we are naturally drawn to immediate relief – this is not always bad, but it only puts a band-aid on a gaping wound.
Our soul needs restoration for us to experience the healing, hope, and happiness for which our heart yearns.
I have worked with people from ages 4-104 years old, and we all desire the same themes in life.
Christ is the foundation.
Christ truly is the power and center of every fruitful Christian life. I am happy to work with a diverse population; however, my specialty integrates and unifies Biblical theology with the challenges we face in life.
I believe it is through Scripture that we can experience healing from our past and present; it is in Scripture that we gain our ultimate, unwavering hope. It is in Scripture that we find our lasting happiness.
Then Jesus said, “Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens,
and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you. Let me teach you
because I am humble and gentle at heart, and you will find rest for your souls.
For my yoke is easy to bear, and the burden I give you is light.” Matthew 11:28-30

I have had many seasons of toil as a single, in marriage, with parenting, health concerns, career pivots… and on it goes! I am called to help you find grace in an ungracious world through Biblical, clinical, and personal therapy methods.
We live in a culture with many unhealthy demands and expectations and an equal amount of faulty definitions that we are forced to live by – for example, the definition of success.
This modern definition leads to one of the most destructive weapons the enemy uses against us: the weapon of comparison.
